Frequently Asked Questions
Although you don’t need to book your sessions, we do ask for your young person to be registered with us. This is very simple. You can get a reg.form on the door, there will always be a volunteer there. You can either fill in there and then, or take away to complete. It is important that we have all relevant information regarding contact details, any safeguarding concerns and allergy information.
Yes, we are. We also open our tuck shop, which stocks a range of snacks and sweets at reasonable prices. Items are priced between 10p and £1.20.
Yes. All sessions are fully supervised by trained staff and volunteers. Safeguarding is a priority at Wave, and everyone working with young people has the appropriate DBS checks in place.
No. Parents and carers do not need to stay during sessions. Young people are supervised throughout and supported in a safe, welcoming environment.
Young people don’t need to bring anything with them. All activities are provided, and food is included during sessions.
Wave’s regular youth sessions run during term time. Holiday activities and events are shared on the website and social media when available.
